Jay & Tammy have an unusually broad generational appeal.
Eclectic and Versatile, They select the Best in various styles
of music and perform an impressive repertoire of vocal and
instrumental selections, remarkably spanning nearly a
century of American music. This repertoire includes
selections from Swing, The Big Band Era, Classic Country,
Western, Gospel, 50s & 60s Rock n Roll, Bluegrass and
Perennial Favorites of the Pop Charts and Artists.
As Entertainers, Jay & Tammy have acquired a reputation
for reading the audience and quickly establishing a rapport.
Jay served Two Years in The US Army. Went to Central
Texas College studying Music Appreciation, Harmony,
Theory and Counterpoint with Adele Galanfy on the GI Bill.
He also got a Barbers License on the GI Bill in Waco Texas
in 1967.
1968 Jay recorded a 45 record in New Orleans on Bourbon
Street, produced by Mr. Alan Toussaint and Marshall E
Sehorn, "Blue As A Man Can Be" and "Working For You",
Tou-Sea Records.
Jay & Tammy have to date recorded 11 CD's together.
Jay had the pleasure of working and recording with Merle
Travis in 1982.
Jay & Tammy are Full Time RVer's Living in Motor
Coaches traveling the roads together since November 1978..
In 1993 Jay and Tammy were on "CBS This Morning"
with Harry Smith and Paula Zahn" in a segment about RV'ing.

In February 2008 Jay was The Recipient of The 2008
(Families Advocating Moral Entertainment) FAME AWARD
for Musician of the Year and Lead Guitarist of the Year,
Tammy was The Recipient of The FAME 2008 Directors
Award.
In February 2009 Jay was again The Recipient of The
2009 FAME AWARD for Musician of the Year and Lead
Guitarist of the Year.
In February 2009 Tammy was The Recipient of The
2009 FAME AWARD for Bassist of The Year,
Vocalist of The Year and Song Of The Year, "On My Fathers Side".
In The Summer of 2009 Jay and Tammy performed
in Branson, Missouri at The Branson Star Theatre
with The Chicken House Opry Show.
Jay & Tammy received The 2010 Directors
Choice Award at The Wahoo Country Music
Show in Wahoo, Nebraska.
July 1, 2011, Jay & Tammy performed at The
Midwest Country Music Theater in Sandstone,
Minnesota. "On My Fathers Side" and
"Nine Pound Hammer", that taping aired on
RFD-TV August 13, 2011.
Jay & Tammy returned to The Midwest Country
Music Theater June 10, 2012. That Show aired on
RFD-TV July 21, 2012.
They returned June 15, 2013 which Aired on
RFD TV January 18, 2014.
On June 14, 2014 they opened Two Shows at The
Midwest Country Music Theater for Country Music
Legend, Mr. GENE WATSON.
Jay & Tammy aired on RFD TV (Channel 231 on
DISH Network, Channel 345 on Direct TV) on
The Midwest Country Music Show April 25th, 2015.
November 15, 2013 Jay & Tammy were Inducted
into The Gatesville Country Music HALL OF FAME
